I first started skiing with Shafat from Snowkings in 2013. We regularly travel in a group from Australia to Kashmir to ski with Shafat, generally we travel over in February. Snowkings organise everything from airport pickups, accommodation booking, lift tickets, general transport around the resort, shopping trips and any other requirements you may need, they will fix it up.
Shafats guiding skills are probably the best in Gulmarg and he will ensure you ski untracked powder and keep you safe from avalanches. He can organise Heliskiing if required. Snowkings also fix up ski rentals and avalanche airbags if needed. I have skied around the world in Canada, USA, Australia, Japan and Europe and still I keep coming back to Kashmir as with Snowkings the experience is awesome. I would rank Snowkings as the best guiding experience anywhere in the world.

We had a 6 day beginner ski course booked with Snowkings and the complete experience was hassle free from the minute we stepped in Srinagar. The training is well structured and all the instructors are very experienced - I trained with Sajjad Bhai who was patient and made me confident with the slopes!
A special shout out to Basharat Bhai and Gulzar Bhai for keeping us company on the slopes and making it so enjoyable. Also to Shafat Bhai for organising and making sure it was a smooth experience!

The best skiing and snowboarding training experience . I can’t thank enough for the hospitality and love and effort the trainers showed us. Thank you so much Basharat, Junaid & Tanveer bro for treating us like your fellow brothers and made sure we were comfortable and safe through out the trip. The trainers had excellent communication skills in English and helped us understand the snowboarding skills for non Hindi speaking people like me from south India background.

One of the most memorable trips of my life! My friend and I had booked full package for about 9 days in February. Everything from transport to hotel and coaching was excellent! The entire team is very kind and helpful. They gave us good rental gears. The stay we booked was 3 star category and they had all the essential amenities as promised. Food was good. Coaching was one on one and it’s based on how fast we learn. We picked up real quick because the trainers are very knowledgeable and after a few days on practice slopes we went on to the bigger slopes. My trainer, Skier Atif is young and full of energy! I am so happy with the way he taught us. He pushed us to do better and supported us throughout. I can’t wait to get back on the slopes with snowkings next season!
I learned intermediate and advance skills with Snowkings Gulmarg just in a matter of 5 days. What a great helpful bunch of people who have immense knowledge and experience in skiing (on & off piste).
No doubt these are the best instructors in gulmarg. They are compassionate and highly flexible in terms of their customers needs. Just talk to them about it.
I am telling you they are already big in gulmarg but they are gonna be real big in skiing soon.
Ask for Mr. Shafaat (backcountry expert skier) Mir Bashir, Gulzar Ahmed (the most experienced instructor). These folks are no less than celebrities!
Next year, again we will be joining snowkings to learn and excel further at skiing.
