Itinerary Example
On Day 1, ski south from Apharwat to the creek separating Gulmarg and Sunshine Peak, passing technical sections with the help of a local guide. Camp at Shepherd’s Huts and, if possible, ski a few couloirs before nightfall. On Day 2, ski through Sunshine Peak’s couloirs, descend to Drang Village, and return to Gulmarg. For an earlier start, consider staying at the Top Station of the Gulmarg Gondola.
